HITMAN 2 is a stealth action game developed by IO Interactive and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2018. The game follows the adventures of Agent 47, a genetically enhanced assassin who travels the world to eliminate high-profile targets. HITMAN 2 features six main locations, each with multiple missions and challenges, as well as two additional locations that are part of the game's expansion pass.

The Last Resort

The Last Resort is the name of the campaign mission that takes place in Haven Island. It is the conclusion of the game's main storyline, following the events of The Bank in New York. Agent 47 arrives at Haven Island under the alias of Tobias Rieper, a wealthy businessman who is interested in Haven's services. He must find and eliminate his three targets, as well as retrieve data from their servers and escape the island.

The Last Resort features various opportunities and challenges for Agent 47 to complete his objectives. He can explore the resort's facilities, such as the spa, the gym, the bar, and the beach; he can interact with other guests and staff members; he can disguise himself as various characters, such as a doctor, a waiter, a gardener, or a DJ; he can use various weapons and items, such as a coconut, a fish hook, a harpoon gun, or a sea mine; he can trigger various accidents and events, such as a shark attack, a gas leak, a firework show, or a storm.

Reception

Haven Island received positive reviews from critics and players alike. It was praised for its beautiful and detailed environment, its variety and creativity of gameplay options, its humor and tone, and its satisfying conclusion to the game's story. Some of the criticisms were directed at its relatively small size compared to other locations, its lack of replay value after completing the main mission, and its occasional bugs and glitches.
